Pik-pik

Respectful seamstresses have all a needle cushion. I would have like to buy/receive a second hand one with a rich past...like the many tools I use.

Since I didn't find one, I made one. I introduce to Pik-pik.

Pik-pik is not a voodoo dool and is not masochistic either.

I've used it for the first time today and it worked very week. I still haven't decided which wrist I will us it on, but it is really helpful.

with regards to my second-hand tools:
  • ma main air of scissors from my nonna
  • my little pair of scissors from my nonna
  • my sewong maching from my lovely nonna
  • my sewing wallet made copying my mum's one (the result is very different, like many projects I start with an idea then the result is somewhat different. Is that a good thing?
  • elastic, velcro and many more bits to fill in my sewing box from my aunt Zab
  • many buttons from my mum
  • a large safety pin collection from my mum
  • pins from mum
  • crochet hook from mum (unused...I lack patience)
  • ... and many more...I'll stop now before I put you all to sleep.
Sewing is in our genes!
